Hubertz is a name that interests Orient boss
Poul Hubertz
Poul Hubertz

ORIENT manager Martin Ling has confirmed that Northampton's Poul Hubertz is the king of big striker he is looking at to fill the void left by Jabo Ibehre's departure.

The 6ft 5ins frontman caused the O's no end of problems in both games last season, and scored in each of the clashes at Brisbane Road and the Sixfields on route to get 13 goals for the campaign.

And the impact the giant Danish frontman had in those fixtures, has clearly made the former Millwall striker one of the front runners on Ling's list of forwards.

"He (Hubertz) would be the type of striker we are looking at," stated Ling.

"We've got a list of strikers that we are looking at and he is one of the names that comes to mind."
