Steve O'Meara earned a comprehensive points victory over Matt Scriven in Brentwood on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old suffered a cut above his eye in the first round but turned the fight on its head to dominate the final three rounds.
O'Meara, the light middleweight, has won his first five fights as a professional.
