Hayes and Yeading United had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Team Bath on Saturday in the Blue Square South promotion battle.
Josh Scott fired the Reds in front after just six minutes when he smashed a free kick into the bottom corner of the net.
But the visitors battled back and levelled the match on 49 minutes when Shaun Benison netted from close range.
Substitute Ram Marwa almost pinched a late winner for United but his effort curled inches past the target.
