Hillingdon Borough manager Steve Ringrose heaped praise on his stars after they won the Errea Cup last night.

A brace from Sam Byfield and a goal from Danny Tilbury helped Boro to the stunning 4-1 aggregate win over Clevedon.

Ringrose said: "It was a tremendous night and a great achievement for everybody. Everyone is buzzing after that and we didn't get back until 3am.

"We always had belief and felt that we could win the game. We knew we had a goal in us so we weren't worried about getting an away goal.

"Sam Byfield's goal was absolutely superb and the minute it left his boot I knew it was in."

Ringrose believes his club's team spirit is the secret which has taken them to the FA Vase final two years ago and now to silverware.

He added: "The Vase was great but this is brilliant. We play with great team spirit and we don't look like we will be beaten in the cups.

"It's great for the fans. We don't have the biggest crowds but the support we get is tremendous."
