AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown will not be recalling Jon Main from his loan spell at Dartford.

At Crawley Town on Friday, Dons were without the absent Sammy Moore, Sam Hatton, Christian Jolley and Danny Kedwell, who have scored 40 goals between then this season and struggled up front.

But Brown did not consider recalling Main from his loan at Dartford while fellow forward Mark Nwokeji is still in the first 28 days of his stay at Eastleigh so cannot be brought back.

"To be fair, Jon didn't score a goal for us then has only one for Dartford so he is not scoring at the moment and we have just extended his loan," said Brown, whose side come up against a Rushden & Diamonds team with just one defeat in 10 games this weekend.

"Rushden have ambitions themselves to get in the play-offs and hopefully we can put paid to those on Saturday.

"I think we need another 10 points and have got seven games in which to get them so if we can get four wins or three wins a draw then that's fine.

"We have got a cushion there but the test on Saturday will be whether our young squad can bounce back from three defeats in a row."
