Wingate and Finchley youngsters selected for world games

Wingate and Finchley Under-18 youth players Ross Weinreb, Nathan Sollosi and Joe Sharpe have been selected to represent the Great Britain Maccabi Team for the world games.

The event will be held next July in Israel.

Meanwhile, the club’s Under-19 side have lined up an exciting pre-season, including a clash against newly promoted Premier League side Southampton.

Wingate will face Welsh side The New Saints on July 7 before taking on Luton Town three days later.

Southampton are next up on July 12 before an away clash against Prestatyn Town on July 14.

A match against Queens College/Dagenham and Redbridge follows on Friday August 3 before a game the next day against Hanwell Town.
