It has been a bad week for ex-Bees boss Terry Butcher.
Not only was the former England captain roundly booed by the English media when being unveiled as assistant to the new Scotland manager George Burley at a press conference, but he suffered the ignomy of seeing successor Andy Scott equal his Griffin Park points haul in 10 fewer matches.
Victory over Mansfield Town at Field Mill on Saturday made it 20 points in just nine games under Scott, a tally that Butcher took 19 games to amass.
And the 35-year-old rookie boss has made no secret of his pleasure at his start to life in league management since switching to west London from youth team duty at Leyton Orient.
"I am aware my points haul is now equal to Terry's and I am pleased with the way things have gone so far, but the season does not end here," he said.
"We must keep focused on what we are doing now.
"If you start thinking about five games down the line, you can come unstuck."
