Hendon cannot reach the Ryman Premier Division play-offs but virtually secured eighth place despite two Easter defeats.
Monday saw the Greens lose to Bognor Regis Town 3-0 with Ollie Pearce, Terry Dodd and Ben Johnson the goalscorers.
Hendon goalkeeper Daniel McNicholas was dismissed in the 75th minute when he raised a hand in response to goalscorer Pearce's obstruction.
That action landed the young gloveman with a red card and a penalty which Johnson converted.
Three days earlier Hendon were beaten 3-2 by Grays Athletic - the Greens' third consecutive home defeat thanks to an injury-time goal.
Christopher Benjamin handed Hendon the lead but there was more than a hint of handball in the build-up.
Dave Diedhiou equalised six minutes after the restart, sliding in to meet Lee O'Leary's cross.
Joel Nouble re-established Grays' lead before Michael Murray appeared to have equalised with a 90th minute penalty.
In the sixth minute of added time though, Grays found a winner through Benjamin, who fired into the bottom corner to claim the points.
