GARY Waddock has made five new signings just hours after Wanderers' transfer embargo was lifted.
The Blues boss has snapped up 34-year-old centre back Gary Doherty on a two-year deal, with Matt Spring, Sam Wood, Dennis Oli and Lee Angol also signing at Adams Park.
Doherty was an inspirational figure during a three-month loan spell from Charlton last season, while midfielder Spring, who has also signed a two-year deal, joins from Leyton Orient.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Wood is a left winger/left back who joins from Brentford and Oli, also 28, has signed for a year from Gillingham.
Completing a manic day at the club, 18-year-old Angol is an attacker who has come through the ranks at Spurs.
