United end winless streak
Hayes and Yeading United won their first match in seven games after seeing off Cambridge City 3-1 on Saturday.
The visitors stole an early lead when Charlie Sheringham slid the ball past goalkeeper Alessio De Angelis.
But United equalised immediately when Ram Marwa followed up Staforde Palmer's effort from on the ground.
The hosts went in front for the first time when Palmer set up Kieran Knight and the striker volleyed sweetly into the bottom cornet of the net.
Palmer again turned provider in the 72nd minute when he passed to Joel Ledgister and he smashed a shot through a crowd of players.
United fielded three debutants during the match with Joao da Silva, Jake Lovell and Dan Mehmet all involved in the Blue Square South clash.
