HAYES and Yeading United earned their first win of 2008 by comprehensively defeating Cambridge City away 4-1 yesterday.
Will Hendry opened the scoring with a neat finish before Michael Gash equalised from the penalty spot.
United regained the lead before the break when Kieran Knight's cross was put into his own net by Joe Bruce.
Josh Scott netted the third after 65 minutes and ten minutes later he added his second to wrap up the convincing win.
