Spurs have secured their second deadline day signing following the capture of Clint Dempsey.
The Fulham star had looked destined to move to Liverpool but he is now said to have signed a three-year deal at White Hart Lane after the clubs agreed a reported £6m fee.
Dempsey follows Hugo Lloris into the north London club after he secured a move from Lyon earlier this evening on a four-year contract for an initial fee of £8m, potentially rising to £12m.
