Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has been installed as the bookies favourite to become the next permanent England manager.
Fabio Capello resigned from the position last night meaning the search is on for a new boss ahead of this summer’s European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
Before that however, the Three Lions are due to meet the Netherlands in a friendly this month.
And Redknapp has been priced as the clear front runner for the vacancy at 2-7 (SkyBet).
Current boss of the Under-21 side Stuart Pearce is at 5-1 (Bet Victor), as is Guus Hiddink (SkyBet), while current Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is a 10-1 shot (William Hill).
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is priced longer at 20-1 (BetFred) while other names mentioned include Martin O’Neill, Roy Hodgson and Rafa Benitez.
But Redknapp looks to be the clear favourite as the Football Association begin their search for a new manager.
