West Ham United signing Nicky Maynard has enraged Bristol City fans after his exit from Ashton Gate.
The talented striker had already angered City supporters after refusing to sign a new contract last year.
But his latest tongue in cheek comments about appear to have only increased the disregard in which he's held in by City followers.
Maynard told the Football League Paper: "I've got a five-month baby boy now and, if he can't be northern then I'd rather he grows up with a cockney accent than a Bristolian one."
