Former Leyton Orient midfielder Daryl McMahon has joined Blue Square Bet South side Eastleigh.
McMahon formed part of the O’s promotion winning campaign of 2006 as they climbed out of League Two.
He joined Boreham Wood in the summer and was handed the role of player/assistant manager with the Hertfordshire side.
McMahon has now penned a two-year deal with the Spitfires and makes the switch in time to be available for tonight’s clash with Salisbury City, but will remain with Wood in some capacity as he continues his work as a member of the club’s academy coaching staff.
