Jonathan Téhoué has signed a two and a half year deal to stay at Brisbane Road.
The French striker has committed to Orient after he arrived in mid-January on a contract which lasted only until the end of this season.
Téhoué has a strong pedigree, with experience of top-flight in three countries across Europe.
He has scored two goals for Orient .
The news is welcome during a tough spell for Orient. Recent results have sucked the club back into the battle for survival in League One.
Boss Geraint Williams said the best is yet to come from Téhoué.
"We're looking forwards to working with Jonathan, especially with a full pre-season under his belt."
