A MAN has been accused of carrying out robberies against victims he met over gay chatlines.
Adil Zahid, 27, of Waltham Forest, was charged with four counts of robbery, one theft of a motor vehicle and one count of false imprisonment at Tottenham Magistrates Court yesterday.
The offences took place between June and August 2009 at various locations in Tottenham and Waltham Forest.
Unemployed Zahid will appear at Wood Green Crown Court, in Lordship Lane, for a preliminary hearing on August 20.
