Leyton Orient's hopes of avoiding relegation from League One suffered a major blow after losing 1-0 to Doncaster Rovers last night.
The first half lacked quality but Orient were on top and missed chances through Darius Henderson and Andrea Dossena to score.
The O's failed to get going at the start of the second period and were punished when Rob Jones headed home from a free-kick.
Fabio Liverani's side had chances to equalise but Josh Wright, Shane Lowry and Jay Simpson were denied by goalkeeper Stephen Bywater.
The result leaves Orient only above the relegation zone on goal difference heading into the last four games of the season.
