Leyton Orient could be without Kevin Lisbie for three months after the striker had an operation on his shoulder.

The veteran forward picked up the injury when his shoulder popped out in the recent draw at Bristol City. After seeing a specialist, he had an operation and the former Charlton Athletic striker is likely to be sidelined until towards the end of this year.

Orient boss Russell Slade said: “Kevin will be out for ten to 12 weeks. He’s had a full shoulder operation.

“For any of those 20 players in our squad to get anything that is considered a medium to long-term injury is a disappointment and frustrating.”
