Tottenham Hotspur are considering a January bid for River Plate's pacey winger Carlos Sanchez, according to the Daily Mirror.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has made securing an additional wide player a priority in for the transfer window, and Sanchez has moved up Tottenham's shortlist.
Scouts have been impressed by the performances of the Uruguayan who is thought to be valued at around £7.5m.
Tottenham have been linked with several wide players including Wilian, Christian Atsu, Dries Mertens, Daniel Sturridge, Wilfried Zaha, and Tom Ince.
