Key points

  • The Hornets led 2-0 after just 21 minutes thanks to Ikechi Anya and Troy Deeney’s goals and Gianfranco Zola’s men were comfortable for most of the first half.

  • Isaiah Osbourne scored the equaliser from 20 yards in injury time to secure Pool a point.

A win would be fantastic but I think a draw is realistic.

Yeates seems to have found his place in midfield. Playing well so back off the bully boys!

Need to spend a little more time on ball and look for less ambitious passes while we are 2-0 up. Last 20 minutes before half time rather frantic. Wouldn't be surprised if Battochio is replaced at half time, although he laid a great ball on for Vydra that led to Anya's goal. Come on you Orns

22 minutes left. really worrying. We're giving the ball away so easily! Could do with John Eustace in this kind of situation. Need to pick up Gomez!

Blackpool level in extra time. We haven't played well since first 20 minutes. Sad to say Blackpool deserve to be level. They've dominated us in the second half.Midfield far too young.

I would of taken a point before kick off but after being two up its so frustrating that we still can't see a game out!
For me we do need Eustace in that 5 man midfield as he is the gritty leader you need to edge a game out! Sooner he's back the better!

It sounded like battachio had a Bad game in midfield! I was listening to the radio and we lost the game in midfield. Sometimes you just have to load the midfield with warriors and that is where Murray, Bauban, Hogg, Almen and Eustace would control the game. Today midfield was too young and inexperienced and today will not be the last time that we lose control of the midfield battle field unless we put some muscle and control in there
