Gino Pozzo expected to address Watford staff for the first time today

One of the Hornets' new owners is expected to address club staff for the first time this afternoon, the Watford Observer understands.

Office staff at Vicarage Road had been left in the dark during the club's takeover, which took several weeks to complete.

The Pozzos takeover of Watford was completed in the early hours of Friday and announced that afternoon.

Chief executive Scott Duxbury addressed staff on Friday and Gino Pozzo is expected to this afternoon.

We understand staff will be addressed by Duxbury and Pozzo later this afternoon and the club have just released a statement confirming a staff meeting will be taking place at 2.45pm.

This means the club's office will be shut until 9am tomorrow, although The Hornets Shop and Ticket Office will remain open.
