Crystal Palace assistant manager Keith Millen believes the Eagles' excellent recent record against Liverpool will stand them in good stead for Saturday's FA Cup fifth round tie.

Palace came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Liverpool in May, a match that killed the Reds' title challenge, and beat the Anfield outfit 3-1 in November's Premier League clash.

The Eagles have injury doubts over James McArthur (thigh) and Yaya Sanogo (hamstring), but Millen revealed Pape Souare will be in Saturday's squad after receiving his work permit.

And with Millen saying Palace are under "no pressure" to rest players for forthcoming Premier League games, Liverpool will face a Palace team firing on all guns.

Millen said: "We've go to take confidence from it, without a doubt. The past two times they've come to Selhurst Park they've had two tough games.

"So they realise for sure they're in for a tough one tomorrow and we've got to make sure we don't disappoint them."

He added: "It's not the most luxurious dressing room when you come to Selhurst Park; for the away team - ours has been done up now.

"It's an old ground, and whether they're scarred from those two games, who knows?

"We will be right at it tomorrow and I'm sure Alan [Pardew] will make sure before how important this game is."

A win on Saturday would put Palace in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1995.

And with memories of Pardew's winning goal in the 1990 semi-final still strong among fans, the fixture has excited the Selhurst Park faithful.

Palace have lost only once in six Premier League games since Pardew took over, but while top-flight safety remains paramount, Saturday's tie has stoked dreams of Wembley.

Millen said: "We are under no pressure to rest anyone.

"We're going to pick a team that's strong enough to win it, and we have got some selection headaches because of the strength of the squad.

"The squad is without doubt the strongest I've ever known it. I'm sure when they walk out here tomorrow the lads will now how much it means for the club.

"When you get two or three games away [from Wembley] and some of the big boys are out of the competition, the way we're playing we feel confident against anyone," he added.

"It's the beauty of the cup tomorrow and we're really keen to try to get through."
