Bookmakers have slashed odds on Tony Pulis making an shock comeback as Crystal Palace manager.

Betting websites have installed Pulis as third favourite for the job he left just a week ago, with some rating him second favourite.

Betfred and William Hill are both offering odds of 4/1 on the former Stoke City boss returning to Selhurst Park, while Ladbrokes and Paddy Power rate him 5/1.

Neil Lennon remains favourite for the job after Palace pulled the plug on the appointment of Malky Mackay following the emergence of allegations of racist, homophobic and sexists messages exchanged between the former Cardiff City boss and the Eagles' departing sporting director Iain Moody.

Caretaker boss Keith Millen is to remain in charge for West Ham's visit to Selhurst Park tomorrow.
