Crystal Palace goalkeeper David Gregory has joined Sutton United on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old England youth international has enjoyed a successful year with the Premier League outfit, culminating in a move from the Eagles U18s into the development squad.

Gregory had a previous loan spell at Ryman League Premier side Harrow Borough last season, where he played a pivotal role in the club's battle to avoid relegation, playing four games and keeping three clean sheets.

His arrival at Gander Green Lane is one of many comings and goings at United - skipper Jamie Stuart and midfielder Anthony Riviere have joined Margate, while Jamie Taylor returned from a loan spell at Eastbourne Borough last week, and Gavin McCallum remains on loan at Tonbridge.

United lost their stand-in keeper Wayne Shaw before Christmas when he was released by the club following an altercation with Kingstonian fans at the beginning of December, while regular number one Tom Lovelock has had little pressure on his position.

After the New Year's Day trip to Hayes & Yeading was postponed due to the weather, United host Gosport Borough this weekend looking to get back to winning ways in the Skrill South.

Despite a 2-1 defeat at Staines last time out, United remain fourth in the table, but they are a mammoth 20 points behind the leaders Bromley.
