A Palace fan has gone to new lengths in praising in form striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Eagles striker has netted three goals in as many games with many pundits having to eat their words about the former Arsenal forward.

Now, in a homage to the Moroccan, comedian Jim Daly has come up with some lyrics to go with Take That’s famous tune Back For Good.

Daly, who is also the founder of the Five Year Plan Fanzine, has called his version Chamakh for Good.

He said: "I only ever need the smallest excuse to write a parody song, especially a terrible 90s pop track, but i really think Chammers deserves some credit. He's been brilliant for Palace in the last few weeks, and is the reasons the team are slowly climbing the league.

"I don't know if Gary Barlow has been sung so passionately about Palace before, I kind of want him to see this and then just let me win X-Factor.

"If Chamakh continues to score goals this season I might go down the training ground and sing it to him."
