CHARLTON fringe players Ruben Bover Izquierdo and Tosan Popo are expected to complete a loan switch to Spanish outfit Roque del Lepe this week.

Spanish midfielder Izquierdo joined the Addicks in the summer but the 19-year-old has been restricted to just two first team appearances, both of which came early on in the campaign in the Carling Cup.

He will be joined at Spanish third division side Roque del Lepe by striker Popo, also 19, who has already spent time on loan at Conference South outfit Chelmsford City this season.

Meanwhile, News Shopper understands there will be no permanent transfers in or out of The Valley on transfer deadline day.

Charlton are at home to Bury this evening at 7.45pm.
