Young stars win title
QPR Under-18s won the Puma Youth Alliance league after a 3-2 win over Brentford on Saturday.
A brace from Chris Arthur and an Aaron Morgan-Cummings goal were enough to seal championship glory for the second year running.
Steve Brown, youth team manager, said: "It's great to win the league but it's the performances that have pleased me the most.
"We made an excellent start to the season and in the last few months, we've faced sides who have focused on stopping us from playing, rather than playing themselves.
"If sides concentrate on marking you out of a match, it's a challenge you have to learn to overcome and that's what they did. They faced the problem as a group and it has really aided their development."
