Brentford crashed to another defeat after losing 3-1 at Morecambe in League Two on Saturday.
Stuart Drummond headed in the opener for the hosts but the Bees wasted a great opportunity when Glenn Poole's penalty was saved by Scott Davies.
Nathan Elder equalised with a volley just before the break.
But Morecambe restored their lead through Garry Thompson and Garry Hunter finished off the game.
Brentford had plenty of chances and Alan Connell had two goals disallowed.
