Scott encouraged by performance
Brentford manager Andy Scott praised his side for pushing League Two leaders Peterborough all the way in their 2-1 defeat on Tuesday night.
Scott said: "We've given a team that is top of the league, and deservedly so, a really good game and it shows how far we have come.
"We made a very good side look panicky and pretty ordinary at times. I'm absolutely delighted with the lads."
Meanwhile, Scott has appointed former player Terry Bullivant as his new assistant manager. The 51-year-old has had spells coaching Birmingham and Watford.
The Bees travel to Morecambe on Saturday.
