Worcester Park-based Auriol Bowling Club is inviting anyone interested in trying the game to an open day this Sunday (11am-4pm).
The club is offering free coaching on the green next to the clubhouse in Auriol Park, Salisbury Road.
Women's captain Margaret Ball said: "It is lovely to see the expression on people's faces when they realise they can bowl properly with just a little coaching." Equipment will be provided.
