Luke Donald tweets his congratulations to Hazlemere champion

Emily Marler and Adam Batty are Hazlemere champions
WORLD number one golfer Luke Donald tweeted his congratulations after Adam Batty emulated his achievements on the honours board at Hazlemere GC.
Donald won the junior club championships in 1990 and 1991 before going on to become the best golfer on the planet, and now Batty has done the same thing – in part at least.
The plus one handicap, who won the junior title at Hazlemere in 2007, trailed Adam Birdseye by a shot after opening with a par 70.
But he found his game on Sunday with a 68 to take the club championship title for the second year running.
Josh Stanners moved up to take second place with rounds of 72 and 73, with Birdseye coming home third after following his 69 with a 74.
On the same day, Emily Marler won the Ladies Championship by 12 shots after the seven handicap fired rounds of 82 and 85.
Maria Connor was second.
