Taddington's Stanhop wins silver in Portugal

Teddington Swimming Club’s James Stanhope continued his medal winning form as he claimed 50m butterfly silver for Middlesex County at the Povoa De Varzim International Open in Portugal at the weekend.
Stanhope also finished sixth in the 100m butterfly and seventh in the 50m fresstyle finals.
Club-mate Hannah Rogers also travelled to Portugal and finished seventh in the 50m freestyle final.
Teddington’s Sidney Howes flew to Barcelona with London Swimming and secured three personal bests at at the Catalonian International Winter Open Meet – which featured Olympic swimmers such as Barcelona’s World and European champion Mireia Belmonte.
