Crystal Palace had a cracking win against Cardiff City at Selhurst Park on Tuesday and they continue to impress me.

They picked themselves up from the defeat against Burnley and they are grinding out results.

Sheffield United winning didn’t help but they are now 1-3 to stay up and 9-4 to down, and I wouldn’t be backing the latter.

They do have a tricky trip to the league leaders QPR on Saturday, but a sell-out crowd will ensure plenty of support for Palace and I wouldn’t put anyone off backing them at 13-2.

QPR lost on Tuesday and they could be vulnerable.

Palace have two home games after this, against Derby and Barnsley, so Dougie Freedman must be thinking that if he can get at least a point at Loftus Road, they could start to pull away from their relegation rivals in the next fortnight.
