Lee Bowyer will remain as Charlton caretaker boss, the club has announced.
The former Addicks player took temporary charge of Charlton for their remaining 10 games last season and guided them to a top-six finish.
They fell short to Shrewsbury in the League One play-off semi-finals but performances drastically improved under him.
Bowyer said: “I’m looking forward to working with the group again.

“They put a great shift for me and the club last season and I want to build upon where we left off.”
Charlton confirmed wantaway owner Roland Duchatelet has been in London this week to make provisional plans for the upcoming season.
Duchatelet remains hopeful that a takeover will still happen.
The club added that Bowyer will take up the position as caretaker manager “until further notice”.
