Leyton Orient are set to complete the signing of Wingate and Finchley left-back Nathan Mavila later today, the Guardian Series understand.

The O’s are yet to formally announce the signing, but Wingate and Finchley confirmed on Friday that the former West Ham United and Wealdstone man had completed a move to Brisbane Road.

However, while no deal has been completed just yet, we understand that the left-back should be an O's player later today.

Mavila joined the Bostik Premier League side last summer and has made 43 appearances in all competitions since then, scoring twice. He leaves Wingate and Finchley with the club in sixth position in the Bostik Premier League.

The 22-year-old is a product of West Ham’s academy and was even included on the bench for the Hammers’ Europa League tie against Astra Giurgiu in August 2015. However, he was released by the Premier League club in July 2016 and has since enjoyed brief spells with Maidstone United, Cambridge City and Wealdstone.
