Charlton moved two points clear of seventh-placed Rotherham after beating Walsall 3-1 at the Valley.

Former Addicks trainee Erhun Oztumer cancelled out Joe Aribo’s opener before a Kory Roberts own goal and Stephy Mavididi strike wrapped up the points.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Ben Amos - 6 - Had barely anything to do.

Chris Solly - 5 - He’s only just come back from a month on the sidelines so he won’t be up to speed. He struggled with Tyler Roberts’ pace.

Ezri Konsa - 8 - He stopped Walsall from taking the lead thanks to his goal-saving interception. He handled Amadou Bakayoko very well.

Harry Lennon - 6 - Konsa massively let him off after losing possession just outside his own box.

Jay Dasilva - 8 - Attacked very well, and was often like a winger. He’s been so consistent for the Addicks this season.

Ahmed Kashi - 6 - Won his tackles but didn't do too much.

Joe Aribo - 8 - His fine form continues. He took his goal so well. He was always trying to get forward.

Mark Marshall - 7 - He followed up last week’s brilliant performance at Bury with another one today. Assisted Aribo’s goal and always looked threatening.

Ben Reeves - 4 - He was hooked off in the 51st minute after being a passenger in the first-half.

Stephy Mavididi - 9 - Had a few decent runs, which got him his second Charlton goal in as many home games, and played a massive part in the own goal. Needs to know when to pass, though.

Josh Magennis - 5 - His confidence looks shattered. Similarly to last week, he missed two very good chances to score.
