Charlton boss Karl Robinson is not expecting any more Charlton players to leave the club this summer.

The Addicks have axed senior players Igor Vetokele, Jorge Teixeira and Cristian Ceballos as they look to mount a League One promotion push.

And while young star Ezri Konsa is attracting interest from Premier League clubs, Robinson is confident of keeping his current crop of players.

He said: “I don’t think anyone else will leave. Who would you let go from today’s performance?

“Naby Sarr came on and I thought he did really well. There are a lot of players like Pearcy [Jason Pearce] and Ez [Konsa] - and Patrick Bauer wasn't here today, but he’ll be fit for Tuesday. We’ll see where we are at then.”

Meanwhile, Robinson landed his number one left-back target Jay Dasilva on Friday after signing the young defender on loan from Chelsea.

And the Liverpudlian revealed he is still looking to bring in two or three more players before the transfer window shuts.

He added: “I’d like to think we can bring in two or three.

“We’re working so hard behind the scenes to do so. But you don't always get what you want in football, you have to be a bit patient sometimes.”

Summer signing Tariqe Fosu starred in the Addicks’ 2-1 win over Stevenage on Saturday.

Fosu arrived on a two-year deal from Reading for an undisclosed fee last month.

Robinson said: “I’ve said this about Tariqe, I'm not saying he is like an Ademola Lookman, but he’s that type of player where he puts you on your heels. He twists and turns and he can go both ways.

“He’s a great kid. Hopefully, by seeing this game today, the fans will be relatively excited about what he can bring to the team.”
