Sky Bet Championship new boys Millwall will kick-off their 2017/18 campaign away to Nottingham Forest on August 5 at The City Ground.
The club come off the back of a superb season, clinching promotion in a 1-0 win at Wembley against Bradford City after finishing in sixth place in League One.
Now manager Neil Harris is relishing the opening day in a few weeks’ time.

He said: “There is so much to look forward to for everyone connected with Millwall.
“To start away to Nottingham Forest – a huge club – is great for us, and I know it is one the fans will be excited for. We will take a big following there which will help contribute to a cracking atmosphere.”
Other key matches following the league’s fixtures release earlier today include the Lions entertaining Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Den on Boxing Day, followed by a trip to Norwich City’s Carrow Road and then Aston Villa at home on the last day.
