The Leyton Orient Fans Trust say they will now update on HMRC debt when they have any news to report.
Speculation over whether Francesco Becchetti has paid the bill occurred after fans discovered a confirmation statement on the Companies House website.
The Fans Trust were set to confirm information this morning before they could reveal all after tweeting out last night there could be new details.
Last Wednesday, HMRC handed the club a petition over the unpaid tax bill, estimated to be between £125,000 and £250,000.
They are due, along with the creditors, to appear in High Court on Monday, March 20.
We have been told not to expect an announcement from the club any time soon.
More to come when we get it.
Media reporting this as 'announcement incoming' - not true, but we will update later on HMRC debt once we have any news to report. https://t.co/Jq1CUJQbJH
