Leyton Orient's Fans Trust finding fund has reached £60,000 just four days since it was launched by the committee.

LOFT voted for the fund at a meeting last Thursday at Leytonstone's ex-servicemens club.

The fund will be used to help the O's in what ever case it need be whether that be to help Becchetti find a new owner, administration or a phoenix club.

Fans have also been selling Orient memorbilla to put as much as they can towards the fundraising.

Orient were served a winding up petition by HMRC over president Becchetti's unpaid tax bill reported to be around £125-250k.

It was the latest news in a long line of turmoil in the two-half-years since the Italian bought the club.

When he bought Orient from former owner Barry Hearn in 2014 for £4m, the O's were one spot kick away from the Championship.

Since then, there has been nine managerial changes, a fan protest and a six-match ban for the president after kicking then assistant-manager Andy Hessenthaler.

During a vote, held at the proceedings, LOFT voted to opt for administration but at the latest opportunity that is available to them.

This was to give Becchetti some time to pay the unpaid bill.

Earlier this week, it was revealed, in an East London Guardian Series exclusive, an un-named American company have put forwards two bids but have met with 'radio silence'.
