Leyton Orient's home form has not lived up to standards with their last win against Stevenage in August.

Blackpool were no exception to the rule of breaking taboo records at Brisbane Road after they won 2-1.

Goals from Tom Aldred and Jamille Matt were enough to seal the victory for the Tangerines marking their first away win since September.

In a day where fans staged a protest march, who were hoping for a positive effect, this did not transpire onto the pitch.

1. If Orient want to gain promotion home form needs to change fast

While this might seem to state the obvious, Orient have four out of five games before the end of the year at home. Their away record before the weekend was the second best in the League so it is strange why the O's cannot convert this at home. Other teams prey on the fact Orient look vulnerable and nervous at Brisbane Road.

They face bottom placed Exeter City tomorrow.

2. Paul McCallum should have been subbed on a lot earlier

McCallum had an instant impact when he came onto the pitch reducing the deficit with minutes to spare. While he may not have scored another had he been on the pitch longer, Orient could have gained a draw.

O's boss Alberto Cavasin admitted himself he could have brought on the striker five minutes earlier than he did.

3. Michael Collins was the best man on the park

Orient's new signing was substituted too early another midfielder could have come off instead of Collins - but this could have been to rest him for tomorrow's game.

He had a goal disallowed in the first half and almost equalised shortly afterwards, only for Sam Slocombe to push it out for a corner.

This is what the O's needed going forward and while Sandro Semedo did produce the goods when he came on, they missed the flare of Collins.

4. Yvan Erichot struggled

The defender has only recently came back from an injury and it was evident he felt terrible about being easily shoved off the ball.

Matt easily skipped past the defender after a shoulder barge and this is what opened the scoring.

He held his head in his hands and was subbed early on in the second - it must have been difficult for him to try and switch off from it but this is something Orient need to snap out of.

5. PLAY the youngsters

Unbeaten and fearless. There has to be a certain air of who to select as you do not want to play a youngster and break them before they are ready.

Sam Dalby has been scoring goals right left and centre and Myles Judd in the Brighton & Hove Albion game looked at ease in defence - even if it was against their Under-23s.

Something needs to change and they might just be able to help try and turn things around.

The game against The Grecians kicks off at 7.45pm at the Matchroom Stadium.
