Millwall boss Neil Harris is ready to make changes to his side for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening.

The Lions have endured a hectic period since the start of the new season, playing four League One games and their EFL Cup opener.

Harris admits the competition is not a priority but says he will be looking for players to put their name in the hat for a regular first-team place.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” Harris said when asked about the Forest clash.

“The games are coming a bit thick and fast so we will make changes to the team.

“It’s not a priority for us but the players impressing me is a priority. We want to be competitive and to take a result into Chesterfield.”

Star striker Lee Gregory is a major doubt for the game after limping off with a hip problem during the win over Sheffield United on Saturday.

It is not the first time this season the 27-year-old has suffered the injury and Harris admitted he does not know the full extent of the problem.
