West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is well aware of the attacking threat that Liverpool possess ahead of their FA Cup fourth round-replay on Tuesday evening at Upton Park.

Liverpool are expected to make changes for the game as Jurgen Klopp tries to manage his injury-hit squad through a busy period.

However, West Ham coach Bilic knows the quality the Reds possess regardless.

Klopp is likely to decide between Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke to lead the line for the Reds in what will otherwise be a youthful team.

The Croation said: "If it is not Sturridge, it will be Benteke. They have a lot of good strikers and the difference is the midfield.

"Liverpool are a big club and have had their ups and downs this season. Make no mistake you have to close them down and can't give them time."

Former Besiktas manager Klopp also confirmed he expects to be without James Tomkins for a few weeks with the defender to undergo a scan on the calf injury he sustained in the 1-0 defeat at Southampton on Saturday.

January signing Sam Byram is cup-tied, having played for last club Leeds United in the third round against Rotherham United leading to a potential return to action for Joey O'Brien who has not started since July.

Bilic said: "Joey is a good player. It is a big blow that Tomkins is out now. It is a good thing that we have Sam and Joey back. We are well covered."
