The Epsom College boys' athletics team finished ahead of Eton, St Paul's, RGS Guildford, Wellington, Radley and Pangbourne at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre at Eton last Saturday but were narrowly beaten into second place by Tonbridge.
There were solid performances from several of the Epsom athletes in difficult blustery conditions.
Patrick Iyoyin did the sprint double in the Open event, winning the 100m in 11.3 seconds and the 200m in 22.6 seconds.
In the U17 event, Jeremy Evans won the triple jump with 12.16m and the javelin with 47.35m and in the U15 event, Joe Toomey won the 800m in two minutes 13.4 seconds and the 1,500m in 4 minutes 39.7 seconds.
