Leyton Orient head coach Ian Hendon admitted captain Mathieu Baudry was a massive loss after sitting out the Crawley Town defeat.
The defender picked up a head injury against Notts County and was forced to miss the trip to Crawley but the O's hope to have him back for the home match against Oxford United on Saturday.
Speaking on Saturday, Hendon said: "He's been a massive loss today Mathieu. He had a bad injury and went to see a plastic surgeon that stitched him up last week.
"He obviously has to have tests for concussion and those tests came back and said he's not right.
"We can't medically put him at risk so we have to wait for two weeks before he can play. He should be back for the Oxford game."
