Leyton Orient hope to be at near full strength for the trip to League Two strugglers Crawley Town tomorrow.

Captain Mathieu Baudry suffered a facial wound against Notts County but is expected to be fit for the game.

Goalkeeper Alex Cisak has been away with Australia for their World Cup qualifier against Jordan in Amman. But the former Burnley stopper is due back today and should feature at Crawley.

Orient head coach Ian Hendon said: “He’s back before the Crawley game. I think he comes in Friday so I’m sure he’ll be fine.”

This weekend’s match was initially called off at the end of last week because Crawley have at least three players away on international duty. But the match cannot be postponed unless three are permanent players and two of them, Freddie Woodman and Liam Donnelly, are on loan.

The O’s boss is happy the match is going ahead and insists the last thing he wants is a backlog of fixtures later in the season.

Hendon said: “I don’t know what happened. I was told at one stage they had a few internationals in their squad and the game was off. Then I got a phone call an hour later to say it was back on.

“We had an inkling it could be called off but we want to play the games. We don’t want a backlog of fixtures leading to midweek games. We just want to get these games played.”

Both teams were relegated last season but have had significantly different fortunes in the opening two months of the season.

While Orient have set the early pace Crawley have struggled. The Sussex side have scored just one goal at home where they are winless and are fourth bottom of the division.

But Orient will have to overcome a miserable record at the Broadfield Stadium where they have been beaten on all three trips.

Hendon said: “I’m not going to say we’re going to go there and beat Crawley. We’re going to try but if we go there and get something from the game I’ll be happy.”
