Leyton Orient will bid to end their five-game winless run in League Two tomorrow when they host Notts County.

The O's were beaten 2-1 at home to Carlisle United on Tuesday which dropped them down to fifth in the table.

Ian Hendon's side will be without striker Paul McCallum due to his knee injury while goalkeeper Alex Cisak is away on international duty. It means Charlie Grainger will make his home debut for the club.

Head coach Hendon said: "“Charlie’s been training and played in reserve games. He’s put in some good performances so we’ve no qualms about playing Charlie.”

Notts County are 13th in the table but have picked up three wins from their last five league games.

Hendon is glad to see the back of September after a winless month but is confident his side will start picking up wins soon if they maintain their level of performances.

He said: “It’s been horrible in September and thankfully we’re coming to the end of it. We’ve got Notts County at home on Saturday.

“Myself and Andy Hessenthaler went to watch them last week against Crawley so we know what we’ve got coming. It will be another tough game as they all are in this league.

“But I keep talking about the performances and if we keep playing like we are we are going to win more games.”

The Orient boss continued: “They are a good footballing side [Notts County]. We will set up to play against them and they will be playing against a very good footballing side on Saturday so it should be a good game.”
