West Ham look set to bolster their forward options by signing Nikica Jelavic from Hull City.
The 30-year-old is widely reported to be in London undergoing a medical after a fee of £3 million was agreed with the Tigers.
If the move is completed, Jelavic will link up with his former Croatia manager Slaven Bilic at Upton Park and become his eighth summer signing.
The former Hajduk Split, Waregem and Rapid Vienna forward moved to Britain five years ago when he signed for Rangers.
Having scored 30 goals in a total of 45 league appearances for the Ibrox club, Jelavic then joined Everton in January 2012, netting 16 times in a total of 59 Premier League appearances.
The striker moved to Hull in January of last year and has scored 13 goals in 39 league starts and six substitute appearances for Steve Bruce’s side, who are currently second in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
