Steve Morison has finally completed his expected switch to Millwall from Leeds United.

The 31-year-old attacker this afternoon penned a one-year deal at The Den having departed Elland Road for an undisclosed fee.

Morison is no stranger to Lions fans after previously joining the club in 2009.

His goals were instrumental in Millwall’s League One 2010 promotion triumph and manager Neil Harris, then Morison’s strike partner, will be hoping for a repeat of that success this season.

Morison departed for Norwich City in 2011 but was back for a loan spell in 2013-14 from Leeds, playing a key role in the club’s unbeaten run at the end of the campaign which saw Ian Holloway’s side somehow defy the odds to beat the drop.

The striker currently boasts 48 goals in 137 appearances with Millwall, a tally he will be quickly looking to add to when the season kicks off this weekend at Shrewsbury.
